Treatment Descriptions
- 15 min session - anaylize and preform detailed muscle work to one specific area. Typically, these sessions are after you and your therapist have already identified and started the soft tissue work in a previous 30 or 60 min session
- 1/2 hour sessions - assesment and balancing work of either a single key area for the first time, or address 2 or 3 areas of concern after an inital assesment. (i.e. neck, shoulder, forearm)
- 1 hour sessions - devoted to working the muscles of the whole body. This is perfect for a pre or post race flush, or for a first time client. When we can take the time to evaluate your whole body and the way your body works, it enables us to find ways to create more balance, helping to prevent injuries and speed recovery time for existing injuries.
- 1 1/2 hour sessions can be a combination of any of the above. Typically, in a 90 min session, we have the time necessary to assess and relax the whole body, but it also enables us more time to do detailed, specific, fine tuning of the muscles. Depending on what you have just done for an event, or what you may have coming up, we may use some of this bonus time to incorporate extra stretching or going back over a common injury site to help keep you ahead of the game.
All sessions will be specific to you and your muscle needs. Please make sure your therapist knows if you have an injury, an event coming up or if you've just completed an event. This information is extremely valuable for us to determine which session is right for you.
