Cindy has been working on me since august of 2009 and she has in large part, allowed me to train and race at the top level of triathlon. The biggest improvements I have seen are evident in my biking and running.
The bike portion of a triathlon is my weak point. Any help I can get is a huge boost. Eating healthy and staying consistent with my training has helped increase my power output. I strongly believe having regular massages has impacted my racing and training. When I started working with Cindy, she asked me to keep a close eye on my numbers- the raw data. Last year I was regularly putting out around 300 watts for a standard interval workout of 4x15 min. Being early in the 2010 season, I have already seen an increase of about 20 watts during the same workout.
I have also seen a huge improvement in my run from last year. As of 2009, my career best in a 5000m run was 15:44. Having a consistent base of miles under me through this winter and only a handful of workouts, I did a string of 4 indoor track races, all 5000m, in the span of a month and a half. I dropped my personal best at the first meet running 15:14. The next meet I ran 15:02 and a week later, for the first time, ran 14:58. Again, a large part had to do with staying consistent with training and fueling properly, but Cindy has been able to keep me healthy; training and racing at the highest level. As of beginning of the year I got my Pro Traithlon racing card and will be traveling all over North America and Brazil. I count on Cindy's education and hands to keep me at my best!
